Deven's Hope Society is a registered non-profit dedicated to the welfare of animals and the enforcement of animal rights laws in India โ home, hospital and family to the voiceless of Hyderabad.
At any given time, our sanctuary houses over 150 injured and displaced animals, offering them not just care, but dignity and love. Over the years, more than 5,000 animals โ snakes, monkeys, birds, cattle, cats and dogs โ have been rescued and rehabilitated under our care.
We respond to distress calls from the public and work swiftly to rescue animals that are injured, sick, or in immediate danger. Alongside rescue, we run large-scale sterilization and vaccination programs, and our trained para-veterinary staff lead awareness campaigns that promote responsible pet ownership and humane treatment of all animals.
Deven Baheti & Sonam Singh Baheti
In 2012, Deven Baheti and Sonam Singh Baheti began doing something simple: refusing to look away. What started as feeding and rescuing strays around them grew, animal by animal, into a full sanctuary โ officially registered as Deven's Hope Society.
Behind every successful rescue stands a team of caregivers, veterinarians, volunteers, foster families and supporters who refuse to give up on animals in need. Together, they have witnessed remarkable transformations โ animals who arrived frightened, injured and abandoned, growing stronger, healthier and ready to embrace life again.
Today the mission is bigger than rescue alone: education, prevention, sterilization and community engagement โ building a future where animals are treated with the dignity and care they deserve.
"Every donation, volunteer hour, adoption, and act of kindness contributes to a future where animals are treated with dignity."
