A symbol of resilienceSince 2012, Deven's Hope Society has rescued more than 5,000 animals — dogs, cats, birds, monkeys, cattle and snakes — giving each one care rooted in dignity and love. Today, our Hyderabad sanctuary is home to over 150 injured and displaced animals.

We respond to public distress calls and act swiftly to reach animals that are injured, sick, or in immediate danger — anywhere in the twin cities.
Our specially designed rescue van, staffed by trained "Rescue Rangers," runs day and night and can carry up to three rescues at a time.

Still the boss
Run over by a train at 6 months old near Secunderabad station, Tangdi survived weeks on the tracks. After four months of recovery, she's now a permanent (and pampered) shelter resident.
Braver than most
Found abandoned and malnourished on a highway, Sunny was terrified of people. Today, he's the first one to greet our volunteers and spends his afternoons splashing in the sanctuary pool.

Founded by Deven Baheti and Sonam Singh Baheti, Deven's Hope Society grew from a personal mission into a full sanctuary — a registered non-profit dedicated to animal welfare and the enforcement of animal rights laws in India.
